Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance and supervision.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience with conveyors, motor controls, and MHE is valued.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related programs.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

A Day In The Life

• Lead a team of mechanics, guiding them through the day's tasks.
• Oversee equipment repair and maintenance. You'll assign work orders, making sure safety and production-related tasks come first. Whenever needed, you'll jump in to help with diagnoses and repairs.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs is crucial to minimize downtime. You'll ensure the schedule is followed religiously.
• Create efficient methods and procedures for departmental activities falls under your purview. You'll troubleshoot operational problems and communicate your expertise to keep things running smoothly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the building, grounds, and equipment is essential for smooth operations.
• Supervise the facility's waste disposal program, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with DC leaders is key to meeting maintenance needs; tour facilities regularly to ensure they're well‑maintained.

You’ll Come With

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, completion of trade school is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance and supervision
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures is essential
• Maintenance and repairs of conveyors, motor controls, and MHE is highly valued
• Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, and to develop effective solutions
• Excellent management, leadership, communication, organizational, and administrative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related programs is necessary for success
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Basic computer proficiency
