Job summary

DuPont is seeking an experienced Maintenance Area Leader to oversee maintenance and reliability across a multi-tenant campus, including laboratories, pilot-scale operations, and offices. You will drive maintenance strategy, safety, cost control, and reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of maintenance, reliability, facilities, or related work experience.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel or coordinating multidisciplinary resources.
• Experience with maintenance work management processes, budgets, and contracted services.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance organization, coordinate maintenance engineering, planning, scheduling, craft execution and contracted support to deliver safe, reliable services.
• Establish safety, quality, productivity, and accountability expectations and ensure compliance with site procedures and lockout/tagout.
• Develop and execute ESL maintenance strategy, align with asset conditions, research needs, and infrastructure reliability.
• Coordinate building systems maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) and support for tenant labs and offices.
• Manage budget, track labor and materials, and drive cost improvements with internal and external teams.
• Provide coaching, training, and succession planning to develop the maintenance workforce.
