Fiduciary Real Estate Development, Inc. invites motivated individuals to join a 90-day paid Maintenance Apprenticeship in the Madison area.

You will learn HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and more, preparing apartments for rent while developing troubleshooting and maintenance skills. After completing the apprenticeship, you advance to Maintenance Technician I with promotion paths to Tech II and beyond.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and grow in a career of residential maintenance.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license with good driving record, and auto insurance required.,
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing troubleshooting skills to respond and repair a variety of residential service requests.
• Preparing apartment homes for rent by performing various repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, building exteriors, and appliances.
• Preventative maintenance tasks to eliminate untimely and costly breakdowns in equipment and appliances.
• Bridging communication between the maintenance team and property manager.
• Accurate documentation of time sheets, daily maintenance logs, and other checklists.
• During winter months, assist with snow removal at property.

Maintenance ApprenticeshipJoin a company dedicated to developing Maintenance Technicians with no prior experience! This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in a 90-day paid apprenticeship where you are provided training and comprehensive knowledge of the work that goes into multi-family property maintenance. After you have completed the 90-day paid, benefit’s eligible apprenticeship, you will begin a permanent position as a Maintenance Technician I. This will come with a $1000 bonus for successfully completing the apprenticeship and becoming a permanent FRED employee.
