UDR, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice for Meetinghouse in Portland, OR. This 232-home community is where you will help keep the property welcoming and well-maintained.

You will perform basic upkeep, repair walls, test appliances, and assist in stocking tools, while delivering excellent customer service. A technical or vocational certificate and at least one year of relevant maintenance experience are preferred; a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational certificate and/or degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the community and common areas.
• Perform basic housekeeping to prepare apartments for occupancy.
• Repair walls, paint, patch, and texture as needed.
• Test electrical/gas appliances, lights, plumbing, and replace defective equipment.
• Maintain tools and inventory; assist in stocking.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• On-call after hours and/or overtime may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
