Job summary

Dunmore International Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to work with experienced technicians on basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. The role includes welding and soldering tasks, documentation in EMAINT, and safety training.

Initial training on 1st shift at the Keystone facility, followed by potential 2nd/3rd shift assignments. Candidates should be proactive, safety‑minded, and able to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing skills development in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic ability to safely use common hand tools and power tools with training.
• Willingness to transition to 2nd/3rd shift after initial training and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in diagnosing basic mechanical/electrical issues.
• Learn welding and soldering techniques for small repairs.
• Use EMAINT maintenance system to document and track work orders.
• Respond to after-hours calls and assist in repairs.
• Gain basic understanding of machine operation for troubleshooting.
• Follow safety rules and participate in monthly safety programs.
• Adhere to PPE use and 5S+S CI initiatives.
• Maintain shift flexibility for training, overtime, and weekends.
• Perform other duties as needed.
