Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance employees and contractors, plan and schedule preventive and daily maintenance, and oversee purchasing, inventory, and budget tracking for chemicals and spare parts at our Bay City, Michigan facility. The role requires 4+ years in maintenance/project execution, supervisory experience, and CMMS proficiency.

The position supports plant operations, ensuring on-time, on-budget work and effective resource use, with opportunities to lead

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher is required.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance Employees/Contractors and all aspects of repair/preventive maintenance.

• Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and on budget.

• Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and track budgets.

Job Description

Role Summary:

• Obtain quotes and acquire materials, equipment, and services
• Manage Maintenance Employees and Contractors
• Plan, Schedule, and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) Activities
• Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and trackbudgets

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or higher (two-year college or technical school)
• Minimum 4-years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in ChemicalManufacturing
• At least one-year supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of CMMS and Inventory Management Software

• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Prior experience in a Petroleum or Chemical Manufacturing Plant
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of local contractors and their abilities
• Knowledge of local and national suppliers of equipment, parts, and materials
