Job summary

AMF Bakery Systems Inc. in Richmond, VA, is seeking a reliable Maintenance and Facilities Manager to oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and projects across our manufacturing site.

You will ensure equipment and building systems meet safety standards while coordinating with vendors and trades. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in HVAC, maintenance, or machine shop roles, a high school diploma, and OSHA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC, Maintenance Mechanic, Machine shop.
• HVAC, Electrical, Machining, OSHA credentials/certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Perform miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work with or assist trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
• Assist in facility setup, including furniture arrangements and minor renovations.
• Perform groundskeeping duties as needed.
