HNI Corporation in Muscatine, IA is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and environmental systems.

This on-site opportunity offers engaging work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has at least four years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical theory and power distribution skills, and experience with motors, drives and robotics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in industrial or military settings.
• Experience with electrical theory, power distribution, and electromechanical systems.
• Repair and maintenance of motors, pumps, robotics, and automation equipment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• On-site role in Muscatine, IA; high school diploma or GED not required.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facilities.
• Work with electrical, mechanical, and automation systems including motors and robotics.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose issues and implement durable solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team and comply with safety and quality standards.

Our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, IA is actively looking for an Advanced Maintenance Technician to fill a 1st and 2nd shift opportunity.

As part of our team, you’ll dive into a dynamic maintenance technician role where you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs related to production equipment, plant facilities, and environmental systems. Your hard work will be rewarded with competitive compensation,ranging from $29.00 to $35.00 per hour.

What your day looks like:

• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and any specialized equipment involving:
• Power Transmission, Lubrication, and Pumps
• Instrument/Vision Systems (Repair, Install, and Troubleshoot)
• Piping and plumbing
• Electrical Theory
• Mechanical Operations
• Motors, Automation and Robotics (Maintain and Repair)
• Preferably a minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial or military setting focusing on electro-mechanical maintenance, electrical and power distribution, electronics, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical equipment, motor controls, drives and programmable controllers.

Requirements:

• Pass pre-employment drug testing
• Pass a 7-year criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED is not required
