The Metropolitan Council in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Administrative Assistant to provide office administrative support to Bus Maintenance management, supervisors and forepersons, handling data entry, correspondence, and clerical duties related to buses, vehicles and employees.
This role handles payroll data, maintains files, posts memos and job postings, and assists with forms and procedures, reporting to the Garage Manager and the Assistant Director of Bus Maintenance.

The Maintenance Administrative Assistant provides office administrative support to Bus Maintenance management, supervisors and forepersons by performing office administrative and clerical duties pertaining to buses, vehicles and employees. In addition, this position will provide assistance to employees regarding forms, policies and procedures, liaison, general company and department functions.
Hire: $24.53 hourly, After year one: $28.03 hourly, After year two: $31.54 hourly, After year three: $35.04 hourly
Hourly Pay Range: For candidates newly hired into the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) contract, starting wage is set by the ATU contract. Internal hires will follow Metropolitan Council's union wage guidelines.
Note: This position is open to both internal and external applicants however, internal candidates will receive priority. This position will establish a six-month eligible list for current and future positions. The candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Work is performed in a standard office setting. This is a first shift position with set work hours to be determined at a later date. This position will report directly to the Garage Manager as well as the Assistant Director of Bus Maintenance.
