Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified, multi-skilled maintenance technician to perform equipment maintenance and repair across diverse systems at our facility. You will operate under limited supervision, performing tasks in welding, sheet metal, carpentry, pipe fitting, and power transmission, while keeping safety and reliability at the forefront.

• Leadership experience: ability to guide teams during shutdowns, down days, and breakdowns.
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions; secure replacement parts and perform repairs.
• Support and assist operators to maintain smooth production.
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Uphold maintenance standards and report deviations to leadership.
• Utilize CMMS to document labor hours, parts, and work orders.
• Document equipment drawings and maintain equipment history files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your role at Clorox

Works under limited supervision as a qualified, multi-skilled technician in performing a variety of assigned equipment maintenance and repair work. Areas of multi-skilled responsibilities include but not limited to: welding, sheet metal, carpentry, pipe fitting, machinery, rolling stock, mechanical power transmission, rotary equipment, stationary equipment, PC program manipulation, electrical devices, and wiring.

Starting hourly rate: $29.32 hr

In this role, you will:

• Diagnosis of electrical and mechanical malfunction; identifies and secures replacement parts; and makes necessary repairs.
• Helps support and assist operators.
• Complete WO’s and PM’s in a timely manner with minimal direction.
• Uphold maintenance standards.
• Flow to the work leadership.
• Utilize CMMS system(document labor hrs & spare part accurately on all equipment, work order processes, documentation processes).
• Document equipment, drawing changes, & help maintain equipment history files.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we look for:

• Required Qualifications: Leadership experience: team leadership, scheduling/planning, etc. Needs the ability to manage teams during shutdown, down days, and breakdowns. Proven track record of decision making and critical thinking. Computer skills Demonstrated mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude. Welding and Fabrication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in applicable field, or better Existing skills in welding, sheet metal, carpentry, pipe fitting, machinery, rolling stock, mechanical power transmission, rotary equipment, stationary equipment, PC program manipulation, electrical devices, and/or wiring. Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and other applicable standards Familiarity with drawings: electrical, mechanical, and/or structural Familiarity with WCO methodologies.
