Job summary

The Siegel Group in Cleveland, TN seeks an experienced Maintenance Level 1 engineer to perform daily unit maintenance, process work orders, and complete monthly preventative maintenance under the Property Manager. You will supervise maintenance assistants, coordinate with vendors, and ensure on-call support for tenant emergencies.

Strong hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer.
• Professional certification(s) in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. are preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Own maintenance tools and equipment for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance to turn units and complete work orders.
• Carry out monthly preventative maintenance on all units.
• Supervise and train maintenance assistants and coordinate with the Property Manager.
• Verify room readiness and schedule exterior and in-unit maintenance.
• On-call to assist with tenant emergencies and maintain OSHA compliance.
