Dairy Queen in Weslaco, TX is seeking a reliable maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep across our facility, ensuring safety, cleanliness and functional operations for staff and guests.

• Experience as a maintenance worker or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Ability to operate hand and electrical tools safely.
• Demonstrates good manners, hygiene, positive attitude and promptness.

Responsabilidades

• Perform minor fixes and repairs to doors, walls, and fixtures.
• Install appliances and equipment as needed.
• Inspect control panels and electrical wiring for issues.
• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas, including lawn care and trash collection.
• Clean and perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility.
• Replace light bulbs and other routine maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Test safety systems and report issues to maintenance manager.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc.
• Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Maintain grounds, including garden and yard upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc.
• Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
• Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
• Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems
• Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must have ability to:
• Capability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in and out of different temperature ranges.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting and experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
• Exhibit and use good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
