Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a dependable Maintenance Person in Sugar Land, TX. You will assist in maintaining a clean, safe restaurant environment, with tasks including oil fryer care, window and equipment cleaning, and grounds maintenance.

Candidates should be hardworking, punctual, and ready to learn, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and report for a 5 am shift. This role supports management in achieving outstanding restaurant cleanliness and safety, reporting to an independent franchisee

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance to keep interior and exterior restaurant clean and safe.
• Filter oil fryers daily and maintain grounds outside.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms; load/unload deliveries.
• Replace light bulbs; clean HVAC/exhaust units and roof debris.
• Ensure a neat, clean appearance and promptly perform assigned tasks.

Requirements:

The

Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding

interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant

equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support

you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The

Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
