Job summary

McDonald’s is hiring a Maintenance Person to help keep both interior and exterior areas spotless and fully functional. The role involves routine cleaning, equipment upkeep, and supporting the team to maintain a high standard of restaurant presentation.

You will perform tasks such as oil fryer filtration, grounds maintenance, and window cleaning, while assisting with HVAC units and lighting. This position is at a corporate-owned location with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant maintenance or facilities cleaning preferred.
• Ability to perform routine housekeeping and equipment upkeep.
• Comfort with lifting and moving supplies, working outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and equipment.
• Filter oil fryers daily and unload deliveries as needed.
• Clean HVAC/exhaust units and repair/replace light bulbs.
• Maintain stock rooms, windows, and restrooms.
• Support management in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Requirements

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
