Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician–Level II in Newport, NC. You will perform tasks including light plumbing and carpentry, appliance repairs, painting and groundskeeping, contributing as a team to meet our high maintenance standards across the community.

On site, you’ll coordinate with management, attend daily briefings, and handle repairs and inventory. A valid driver’s license, 1–2 years of property maintenance experience, and a high school diploma are required;

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• 1–2 years property maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to be on call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces to ensure they are well kept and functional.
• Keep grounds clean and free of trash and debris.
• Work with management to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments.
• Communicate with management and staff on maintenance projects.
• Report maintenance concerns and perform repairs.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks on site.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance in Newport, North Carolina.

Whatyou’ll do:

As a Maintenance Technician- Level II, you perform various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including light plumbing and carpentry, appliance repairs, painting, groundskeeping, and more. You work as a team participant to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by ELS.

Your job will include:

• Ensure the amenity spaces are well maintained and working properly.

• Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.

• Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealingproperty.

• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.

• Communicate regularly and professionally with management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.

• Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.

• You will be required to move heavy objects, and you may drive maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.

• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.

• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills & experience you need:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience preferred.

• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.

• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.

• Willingto be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
