Job summary

FASANO GROUP in New York, NY seeks a Maintenance technician to perform regular inspections and timely repairs of hotel property and systems. You will respond to maintenance requests, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and inventory control in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hotel property, equipment, and systems.
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.

• Maintain maintenance logs and report all issues - no matter how small - to management.
• Coordinate with external contractors or service providers when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Assist with moving, arranging, and organizing furniture throughout the hotel.
• Set up and break down rooms for events, meetings, or guest accommodations as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

OTHER:

• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
