Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Garden City, KS. This full-time, on-site role focuses on mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep feed mills running safely and efficiently.

The technician will develop maintenance schedules, manage spare parts, and support production while maintaining strict safety standards. Welding, fabrication, inventory control, and familiarity with grain elevator equipment are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Mechanical repair and maintenance skills required.
• Welding experience and fabrication background preferred.
• Ability to manage spare parts inventory and spending.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for planning and troubleshooting.
• Team-oriented with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.
• Experience with grain elevator equipment (bins, legs, systems) is a plus.
• Experience with pellet mill operations and boiler tech knowledge are valued.

Responsibilities
