Job summary

Superior Essex is seeking a maintenance technician to support plant mechanical and electrical maintenance functions, handle work orders, operate machinery, and assist with equipment startups. You will communicate with supervisors and associates, support production, and follow plant work rules, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe, efficient environment.

The role also involves using hand tools (wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer), precision measuring tools like

Responsibilities

• Support plant mechanical and electrical maintenance functions.
• Complete Work Orders assigned.
• Operate machinery, forklift and other powered industrial trucks if applicable.
• Communicate with supervisors and associates.
• Support Production.
• Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes; maintain cleanliness of work area; use tools such as wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers and computer.
• Other duties as assigned.
