The Rambler Hotel seeks a energetic Maintenance Technician to support all maintenance aspects of the property, from grounds and custodial to preventive and emergency upkeep. You will handle plumbing, electrical work, minor renovations, and safety programs while ensuring the guest environment stays welcoming and safe.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in hotel or venue maintenance, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort working indoors or outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in venues such as hotels, casinos, golf courses or large restaurants.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical work (2+ years preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in dusty, warm environments while following safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on floors, fixtures, doors, windows, and equipment.
• Install, service, replace, and repair electrical circuits, fixtures, and appliances.
• Conduct routine preventive, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Assist with cleaning and inspection of boiler and storage rooms.
• Coordinate with safety programs and pest control as needed.
• Power wash, gutter work, and minor drywall repairs as required.

We are currently seeking a talented Maintenance Technician who will assist The Rambler Hotel in all maintenance aspects including physical grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency to properly maintain the properties.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2 + years of maintenance technician work in a venue such as a hotel, casino, golf course or large restaurant / restaurant group
• Must have experience working on plumbing and electrical (2+ years preferred)
• Must have the ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Must have the ability to work indoors / outdoors, in dusty, warm environments while adhering to all safety requirements and programs
• The Maintenance Technician must have the ability to install, service, replace and repair the following items in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards (these responsibilities include but are not limited to):
  • Vinyl and ceramic floor covering
  • Wall molding
  • Caulking
  • Countertops and cabinets
  • Window screens and blinds
  • Interior and exterior doors
  • Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches and fuses
  • Light fixtures
  • Painting
  • Drywall Installation
  • Appliances such as ACs, refrigerators, washers and dryers
  • Toilets, sinks, vanities and disposals
  • Clean and inspect boiler and storage rooms
  • Rodent & Pest control
  • Fencing
  • Cleaning of Carpet
  • Power Washing
  • Gutters, down spouts and connecting hoses
  • Minor drywall damages
  • Sub flooring, wall studs and floor joists
  • Removing bulk trash (including appliances)
  • Clearing drains and sewer lines up to 4"
