Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited in Burnsville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep our restaurant clean and safe, both inside and out, and to maintain equipment. You’ll support management with daily tasks and follow established standards to ensure a welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing work areas, filtering fryers, maintaining exterior grounds, changing bulbs, and assisting with waste disposal.

Qualifications

• Maintains interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintains restaurant equipment.
• Filters oil fryers daily.
• Maintains outside grounds; cleans equipment, inside/outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week; take out and empty trash compactor; change light bulbs; clean HVAC/Exhaust units.

Responsibilities

• Filtration of oil fryers daily and maintenance of exterior grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms; unload deliveries twice weekly.
• Change light bulbs and remove debris from HVAC/Exhaust units.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met across the restaurant.

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
