Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Staff member to perform building maintenance, janitorial tasks, and housekeeping across our facilities. Under general supervision, you will ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized environment to support store operations.

The role requires independent work and teamwork, with duties ranging from trash removal and cleaning restrooms to stocking supplies and reporting hazards. A flexible schedule including events is expected to accommodate store needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial and building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to interact with and maintain positive relationships with all personnel.
• Flexibility and ability to follow instructions are essential.
• Bilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance of the facility inside and outside and manage trash daily.
• Keep public and common areas clean.
• Sweep and maintain stairwells and areas in front of employee entrances.
• Stock supplies like water, paper, cleaning products, and drinks.
• Mop spills promptly and maintain safety equipment.
• Handle janitorial duties: restrooms, floors, stocking restroom supplies.
• Clean fixtures including hand wash basins, toilets, urinals, mirrors.
• Vacuum and empty trash including recyclables in offices and common areas.
• Maintain lunchroom areas: trash removal, floors, countertops, vending areas.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment and report hazards to supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

About the Job

Performs all tasks involved in the building maintenance. This includes performing a variety of housekeeping, janitorial, and building maintenance duties. Follows standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

• Under general supervision, maintains the appearance of the facility, inside and outside, and daily inspection, collection and removal of all trash
• Maintain the cleanliness of all public and common areas of the property
• Sweep and maintain all common areas, stairwells and in front of employee entrances as needed in assigned areas
• Load, unload, and stock supplies such as water coolers, paper supplies, cleaning supplies, drinks, etc.
• Mop all spills immediately when reported and when necessary
• Clean and wipe down any safety equipment around the facility
• Responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, stocking all paper products in restrooms
• Cleaning fixtures include hand washers, toilets, urinals, toilet stalls, mirrors, etc.
• Vacuum and empty trash receptacles including recycling materials in all office and common areas of building
• Clean and maintain lunchroom areas including emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping counter tops, coffee bar area, cupboards, tables, and all vending machines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any damaged equipment or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor
• Performs additional job responsibilities as needed

Skills & Experience

• Experience in janitorial and building maintenance
• Must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must possess the ability to interact with and maintain a positive relationship with all personnel
• Flexibility and ability to follow instructions is a must
• Bilingual a plus
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including events and special projects
