Job summary

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production, buildings and grounds, and maintain support equipment.
• Order parts when required and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
• Maintain a clean work area and comply with OSHA safety regulations.
• Travel as required; hold a valid driver’s license and meet insurability requirements; DOT medical certification may be required.
• Maintain forklift certification; comply with company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Must be willing toaccept and receive frequent supervision and instructions.
• Will be requiredto perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned and adhering toCompany’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Welding/fabricationalong with facility maintenance a plus.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Ability toadequately work with appropriate tools and equipment. Regularly use hands tofinger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk and hear.
• Must have Adequatemobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirementsnecessary to frequently lift products weighing up to 50 lbs and/or manipulateproducts up to 80 lbs. Regularlyrequired to stand, Regularly required toreach with hands and arms.
• Ability to climb in overheadstructures, to work beneath machines, and in close quarters to perform repairwork.
• Specific visionabilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must wear Safetyglasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection mustbe worn in designated areas at all times.
• Work is performedin a manufacturing environment, heat and cold temperatures vary according toseason.

This position is considered a Safety sensitiveposition due to manufacturing environment, moving machinery and forklifttraffic.
