Job summary

Sinacola is seeking an experienced Mainline Excavator Operator to operate a 345 excavator and support construction projects across our site. You will perform inspections, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with team members to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating excavators.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of excavation techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive motions.

Job Summary:

The Excavator Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Operates construction equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a 345 excavator in a safe and efficient manner while working around utilities.
