A leading IT staffing firm in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Natural coder for a 12-month contract supporting the DMV. The role involves coding in a mainframe environment, implementing solutions, and maintaining application software critical to DMV operations. Ideal candidates have experience with NATURAL/ADABAS and strong analytical skills. Candidates must interview in person; this is a 100% on-site position with local candidates preferred. Qualifications

• Experience coding in mainframe environments using NATURAL/ADABAS.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting technical research and impact analysis.

• Experience with EntireX interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions based on business user requirements.
• Maintain application software supporting DMV's mission.
• Ensure integrity and security of main processor software.
• Manage, define, develop and maintain application software supporting DMV's mission.
• Create new functions, maintaining performance and accuracy.
• Support interfaces (Internet/Intranet/Extranet, on-line dealer, National systems).
• Ensure the integrity and security of main processor software.
• Code is on mainframe using NATURAL/ADABAS; interfaces use EntireX; batch TSO/JCL.

Overview

RICEFW Technologies is a reputed US IT Staffing Company based in the US.

End Client: State Of Virginia

Duration: 12 months

Interview Mode: VA candidates must interview in person; out-of-state candidates will be allowed to Skype. 100% on-site work at DMV in Richmond, VA, with no remote work accepted.

Notes: Please only submit candidates who have Job ID: 504099. Local candidates strongly preferred. Have not previously interviewed at DMV for ANY previous Natural position.

Responsibilities

• Natural coder in mainframe environment.
• Code from spec/analyst description.
• May meet with business user on smaller projects to learn requirements, develop and implement solution.
• Manage, define, develop and maintain application software supporting DMV's mission.
• Objectives include creating new functions, maintaining performance and accuracy levels.
• All application software based on the main processor products support traditional customer based activity and additional interfaces as required; e.g. Internet/Intranet/Extranet, on-line dealer, Select inter-agency systems and National systems.
• Ensure the integrity and security of main processor software as the repository for DMV's automated business records and critical business functions
• Code is on mainframe computer using NATURAL/ADABAS; interfaces use EntireX; batch TSO/IBM JCL.
