Job summary

SFE in Jersey City, NJ (onsite) is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of critical mainframe applications on IBM z/OS. You will lead analysis, design, development, testing, and production support, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

This role requires COBOL, DB2, and JCL expertise, strong coordination of offshore teams, and a proactive approach to incident resolution and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Lead the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of mainframe applications on the IBM z/OS platform.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, assess impacts, and deliver effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL technologies while ensuring adherence to coding and quality standards.
• Coordinate and guide offshore team, review deliverables, and drive successful production implementations.
• Investigate and resolve production and application issues.
