Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to support requirements elicitation, design discussions, and code integration for mainframe applications. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, maintaining code quality, and ensuring smooth transitions to new software releases.

Responsibilities include documenting business requirements, performing code reviews, implementing test strategies, and developing training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate and/or travel to work/project location.
• Candidates authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship are welcome to apply.
• Experience in Mainframe technologies and COBOL/CICS/JCL is required.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements and support elicitation.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features with focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to enhance reliability.
• Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
