Tekgence Inc. is seeking an experienced Mainframe Automation specialist to support and advance automation on IBM z/OS. The role involves migrating from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS and assisting with the SA IOM integration.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, and NetView for z/OS, plus strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and ensure reliable, high-availability operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Mainframe Operations/Support experience.
- Strong knowledge of IBM System Automation for z/OS.
- Experience with NetView for z/OS.
- Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF and JCL.
- Experience with z/OS Automation Migration Projects.
- Knowledge of Automation Policy Database (PDB).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Responsabilités
- Support and implement Mainframe Automation solutions on IBM z/OS environments.
- Participate in migration projects from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS.
- Support migration from CA Automation Point to IBM Systems Automation for Integrated Operations Management (SA IOM).
- Develop and maintain automation policies, rules, and operational procedures.
- Work with automation teams to ensure high availability and operational efficiency.
