Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a pharmacy care services company within UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support Maine pharmacies. The role involves processing prescriptions, patient counseling, immunizations where allowed, and maintaining compliance.

Pharmacists will float among sites in Maine (Biddeford, Brunswick, Lewiston, Portland). Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with no nights or weekends. Pay ranges $44–$79 per hour; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Maine.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Current pharmacist license in New Hampshire or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Immunizations administration as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
