Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or completion of a Surgical Technology program with certification.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Four years of surgical technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile technique in both sterile and unsterile OR roles.
• Assist circulating RN to maintain sterile field and track counts.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Pass instruments and gown/glove surgeons during operations according to protocol.
• Assist with patient positioning and transportation under surgeon direction.
• Record patient charges accurately and assist with equipment checks.
