Job summary

City Limits Subaru in Texas is seeking experienced Main Line Service Technicians to join our team. The technician performs maintenance, light and heavy repairs, diagnostics, and warranty work to ensure safe, efficient vehicle performance per dealership standards.

Responsibilities include multipoint inspections, accurate documentation, and clear communication with service advisors. Requirements: 3+ years’ experience above lube tech, ASE certifications, valid license, clean driving record, and HS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technician experience beyond lube level.
• Competent knowledge of automotive technology and related tools.
• ASE Certifications.
• State inspections certification helpful.
• 4 years clear driving record; valid driver’s license; no criminal history.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by the dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Uses and maintains dealership-provided equipment in proper operating conditions.
• Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the service advisor/ASM or Shop Foreman.
• Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work throughout the shop.
• Quality checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested.
• Stays up to date with all manufacturer and dealership required training.

The Technician performs anything from basic maintenance, light or heavy repairs, diagnosis to warranty repairs on customer vehicles. Primary goals are safe, efficient performance of all maintenance and repair tasks as defined in the dealership processes and policies.

Duties and responsibilities

Guaranteed 80 hours per 2-week pay period. $2500 SIGN ON BONUS -

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically rotating Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturdays, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening, Holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position requires limited extended travel beyond delivery and test drive areas.

Valid driver's license is required, and all applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
