Job summary

Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel in Shreveport, LA is seeking a meticulous cash handling professional to maintain and protect the casino bankroll with floating accountability and strict procedural discipline.

You will manage exchanges with window banks, slot employees and other departments, verify drops for Slot, BVA, Table and Poker operations, balance returns, prepare deposits, handle paid ins and paid outs, and support cage and currency workflows in a busy, smoke-filled environment.

Qualifications

• High School or better required with technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling and casino cash flow processes is desirable.

• Handles exchanges with window banks, slot employees and other departments.
• Pays slot hopper fills and jackpots.
• Accepts and verifies Slot, BVA, Table and Poker Drops.
• Maintains and balances return checks, customer deposits and markers during a shift.
• Prepares bank deposits and Main banks Inventory and Accountability.
• Conducts transactions with employees to issue Slot Currency Banks and F&B Banks.
• Closes out Jet-Sort Machines.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Accepts and verifies other revenue.


• Maintains and balances return checks, customer deposits and markers during a shift.


• Prepares bank deposits and Main banks Inventory and Accountability.


• Handles miscellaneous paid ins and paid outs.


• Conducts transactions with employees to issue Slot Currency Banks and F&B Banks.


• Closes out Jet-Sort Machines.


• Other duties may be assigned.

The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The casino is always heavy with cigarette smoke.

The cages are frequently too cold or too hot, as climate control is set for the comfort of the customers.

There is a lot of vibration when working in the 3rd level cage.

The casino is always very noisy.

Target Salary Range:

• $15.75/Hr
