  • Assist Cage & Club Supervisor to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
  • Count and process currency, chips, and monetary instruments.
  • Balance vault totals and document deposits and drops.
  • Pay jackpots and assist with gratuities counting.
  • Provide cashier services as needed and comply with internal controls.
  • Follow tribal and casino policies and procedures.

Job description

SUMMARY:Responsible for assisting the Cage & Club Supervisor in ensuring that all activities in the Cage & Club Department are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and internal control standards. The Main Banker is responsible for providing quality Cage & Club Department service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner while displaying a high level of customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Duties include, but are not limited to:Held accountable, to the highest degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.Accurately counts and processes all currency, chips, and monetary instruments.Balances all recorded transactions on the vault balance sheet and verifies totals against monies on hand at the end of each shift.Receives, verifies, and documents all currency drops and deposits currency into appropriate accounts.Prepares and releases impress funds to cashiers and other revenue areas.Performs fills and credits from table games, poker, and cashiers.Pays jackpots as required.Assists various departments in counting gratuities.Functions as a Cashier Service Representative as needed.Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to TICS (Tribal Internal Control Standards).Performs other duties as assigned.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
