Job summary

Silver Slipper Casino Venture, LLC is seeking a Cage Cashier to operate the main bank in the casino cage and perform related transactions with cage personnel. The role includes auditing documentation and ensuring accurate processing of transactions in line with gaming regulations.

You will deliver excellent guest service, handle cash, issue and balance markers, payouts, jackpots, and safekeeping items. This position also covers chip exchanges, count room duties, and training support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly within gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate main bank within the casino cage and audit documentation.
• Provide excellent guest service and process transactions per gaming regulations.
• Document and issue receipts for markers, payouts, jackpots, safekeeping, and table fills.
• Exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks and process markers.
• Monitor cash intake in count room areas and verify complete collections.
• Balance NRT cassettes/machines and replenish currency and tickets.
• Perform all functions of a cage cashier and assist with training as needed.
• Maintain bank balance and safeguard cage assets during shift.
• Support promotions paperwork and assist guests with inquiries.

Description

Responsible for operating main bank within the casino cage. Performs various functions for completing transactions with Cage Cashiers and audits all documentation from gaming traffic

• Excellent internal/external guest service;
• Maintain accurate disbursing of guest and company funds with cage personnel by processing and verifying all transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulations, laws, company policies and procedures;
• Document and issue receipt for markers, pay outs, jackpots, safekeeping and table fills;
• Exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks and process markers and fills;
• Monitor cash intake in Count room areas including the counting of all monies and verification of complete collection figures;
• Prepare and balance NRT cassettes/machines;
• Replenish NRT machines with currency and tickets;
• Able to perform all functions of a cage cashier;
• Audit documentation for fill traffic from all gaming areas;
• Obtain guest credit information and coordinate with fellow cage personnel accordingly;
• Maintain bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during assigned shift;
• Process promotion paperwork, Food & Beverage and other deposits;
• Assist with any training or direction as needed;
• Assist guests with inquiries and advise on current promotions;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
