Job summary

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver on a United States Postal Service route in Harlan, KY. The position is a 1099 contractor role with a six-day workweek, from 7:00am to 6:00pm, averaging about 11 hours per day.

You will provide your own vehicle and deliver mail and packages along the route, with an estimated 80 miles per day (40 mile delivery route). The route starts on 12/01/2026 and requires you to meet all listed requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must reside in the Harlan, KY area or nearby.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must own a qualifying minivan/cargo van (150+ cu ft) and have minimum liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Load mail and parcels into the delivery vehicle in sequence.
• Deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along the assigned line of travel.
• Dismount as required to deliver parcels and other accountable mail items.
• Perform other administrative duties as required.
