Job summary

CVS Health in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Mail Order Pharmacy team. In this role you will support the dispensing process in a closed‑door setting, prepare shipments for refrigerated and ambient medications, and collaborate with team leads to ensure accurate, timely medication delivery.

The ideal candidate will hold an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License, be able to stand long hours, lift up to 40 pounds, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Apply for an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.
• Read and understand English.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Overtime when needed based on business needs.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam successfully passed by December 31st of your 2nd IL Pharmacy Technician License renewal.

Responsibilities

• Manually fill or pack refrigerated and ambient temperature medicines.
• Fill medicines for automated machines or pack orders using automated packing machinery.
• Support the shipping handler department with packaging and sorting for shipment.
