Job summary

USPS is actively seeking Mail Handler Assistants to join nationwide teams. Comprehensive training is provided to all levels of experience. You will work with a diverse team to ensure efficient mail handling and distribution across facilities.

Starting pay ranges from $23.47 to $38.62 per hour, with average annual compensation up to $72,400 including full benefits. PTO, health coverage, retirement plan, and life insurance are offered to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Assistance: Help address mail-related inquiries and issues
  • Mail Handling: Sort, label, and distribute mail accurately and promptly
  • Clerical Work: Support USPS operations with administrative tasks
  • Service Support: Assist customers with services like mail forwarding and holds
