Job summary

USPS is hiring City Carrier Assistants nationwide to deliver mail and packages along assigned routes and to assist customers on service inquiries. No prior experience is required, as USPS provides comprehensive paid training to set you up for success.

Starting pay is $23.47–$38.62 per hour with annual compensation up to $72,400 and a full benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, retirement plans, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Mail: Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes
• Customer Assistance: Help customers with postal inquiries and service requests
• Sorting Mail: Organize and prepare mail by size, shape, and route for accurate delivery
• Administrative Duties: Maintain delivery records and support basic clerical operations
