Job summary

USPS is seeking City Carrier Assistants to support nationwide mail delivery operations. No prior experience required as paid training is provided, with starting pay of 23.47 to 38.62 per hour and annual compensation up to 72,400 plus benefits.

Openings are available nationwide; PTO, health coverage, retirement plans, and life insurance are included as part of the benefits package. This is an on-site role with opportunities to gain essential postal experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Mail: Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes
• Customer Assistance: Help customers with postal inquiries and service requests
• Sorting Mail: Organize and prepare mail by size, shape, and route for accurate delivery
• Administrative Duties: Maintain delivery records and support basic clerical operations
