Now Hiring – USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail part time on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Orange, MA area.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years with a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs. and work in all weather conditions.
• Must reside in the Orange, MA area.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 317 active boxes.
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned 32.9‑mile line‑of‑travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Vehicle and Insurance Requirements

• Must furnish a vehicle that meets postal regulations and postal driving requirements.
• One dependable mini‑van or equivalent vehicle providing at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
• Liability insurance: $100,000 / $500,000 / $100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) for contract vehicle.
• Applicant responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs.
• Vehicle reimbursement paid in addition to hourly pay (non‑taxable).

Employment Details

• Employment begins: ASAP.
• Hours: Day shift – generally one day per week, 7:00 am – 1:05 pm.*
• Pay: $25.25 per hour plus vehicle reimbursement.
• Benefits paid as cash equivalent up to the maximum of 40 hours per week under the Service Contract Act (straight time, health & welfare, holiday, and vehicle reimbursement).

*End time may vary based on completion of deliveries.
**Rate of pay and cash‑equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
