Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital – Orange is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee clinical and operational activities on assigned shifts in a Magnet-designated, top regional hospital setting.

The ANM reports to the unit director/manager and ensures staffing, policy adherence, and quality care, with responsibilities spanning coaching, mentoring, and performance input. CA RN license and BSN encouraged; strong leadership in OR contexts preferred.

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse License (RN) upon hire.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from accredited program (BS or BSN).
• American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial presence for all shifts and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with unit director/manager to plan, organize, direct and evaluate patient care services.
