Qualified applicants hold a Juris Doctorate and be admitted to the Ohio Supreme Court to practice law for at least four years; continuing education is required and supported by the employer.
Preside over first cause of action in forcible entry and detainer complaints, driving under suspension citations, replevin actions, minor misdemeanor Division of Natural Resources citations, Division of Watercraft citations, littering citations, minor misdemeanor criminal citations, non-jailable criminal offenses and inspection cases, other criminal cases as may be assigned by the Court to the Magistrates. Employees of the Court are At-Will Employees and serve at the pleasure of the Court.
