Highland Playschool in Maryland is seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to help nurture children's intellectual, emotional, and physical growth. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities and collaborate with colleagues to support each child’s potential.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative, with strong communication skills to keep parents informed, and is comfortable using tools like Brightwheel.

Qualifications

• Experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
• Strong understanding of child development
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certification is not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities using Brightwheel and in person
