Job summary

JPMorganChase’s Macro Credit Trading Desk seeks an Analyst to support day-to-day trading operations, including P&L/risk, trade booking, pricing, and client-driven execution. You will collaborate with senior traders and gradually take on more responsibility to help scale workflows across CDS indices, options, futures, and TRS.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to learn new products quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset; comfortable running recurring daily processes under time pressure.
• Clear communicator—able to explain work succinctly to desk and partner teams.
• Technical/programming capability (e.g., Python; other languages a plus) and comfort working with data.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets.
• Collaborative, proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Run daily P&L and risk processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Assist in booking, pricing, and marking trades across macro credit products (indices/tranches, options, futures, TRS).
• Support client coverage by preparing trade color/ideas, responding to inquiries, and helping facilitate transactions.
• Monitor and analyze risk exposures, including scenario analysis and stress testing.
• Build and enhance analytics and tooling (dashboards, monitoring, automation) to improve workflow and decision-making.
