Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking a detail-oriented Operations professional to support trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting across product lines.

You will work with portfolio managers, traders, and external counterparties to resolve issues quickly and accurately, while contributing to onboarding and process improvements. Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of middle office operations experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or similar financial institution.
• Strong working knowledge of listed futures and options markets and lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on experience with electronic affirmation and confirmation platforms used to support trading activity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Confirm daily futures trade activity and manage exceptions that affect processing and risk controls.
• Reconcile positions with prime brokers, futures commission merchants, and trading counterparties to maintain accurate books and records.
• Partner with portfolio managers, traders, and external counterparties to resolve trade-related issues quickly and accurately.
• Facilitate the quarterly bond futures delivery process with portfolio managers and futures commission merchants.
• Investigate futures commissions, fees, and tax differences with counterparties, including support for give-up and clearing fee schedules.
• Monitor and help execute funding trades that support trading activity in non-deliverable forward markets.
• Respond to ad hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders with timely, accurate information.
• Support onboarding for new portfolio management teams, including account setup, platform training, and third-party connectivity.
• Improve team processes by identifying automation opportunities, increasing efficiency, and strengthening operational controls.

What's required

• Zero to two years of experience in middle office operations at a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or similar financial institution
• Strong working knowledge of listed futures and options markets, products, and lifecycle processes
• Hands-on experience with electronic affirmation and confirmation platforms used to support trading activity
• Strong working knowledge of futures commissions, including clearing, execution, and exchange rates, and give-up agreement processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Superior problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with portfolio managers, traders, counterparties, and internal teams
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and stay self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
