Buck Knives, Inc. seeks a skilled machinist to produce high quality parts for prototyping, fixtures, or tooling in a prototype and low-volume environment. You will use Haas CNC mills, manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders, with Mastercam/ SolidWorks helpful for drafting and programming. A self-starter who communicates well will thrive.
3+ years of machinist experience and the ability to work independently are essential; Buck Knives offers training in certain areas for qualified candidates.
?Produce High quality parts for prototyping, fixtures, or tooling. Works with engineers on bringing concepts to reality using Haas CNC vertical mills, manual mill or lathe, screw machines, surface grinders. Mastercam and Solid works are used for drafting and programming. Experience with this software is a plus.
This position is ideal for a motivated machinist who enjoys solving problems, working on a variety of projects, and taking ownership of their work. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, communicate effectively, and help drive projects from concept to completion in a prototype and low-volume manufacturing environment.
