Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Machinist Technician to support fabrication activities, including loading robots and maintaining a clean work area. You will use hand tools to deburr parts and ensure readiness for painting, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

A Machinist Technician is responsible for providing fabrication support activities including loading robots and ensuring cleanliness of area. Position will utilize hand and power tools to remove burrs and slag from machined parts.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy

• Provide support to operators

• Remove sharp edges/weld spatter from the entire part with hand tools and pneumatic grinders/buffers

• Perform final quality inspection of parts prior to painting processes

• Prepare part for transport to other departments

• Daily inspection of equipment to ensure safety and efficiency

Summary Pay Range:

$20.10 - $26.10
