HTI Cybernetics, Inc. is seeking a ProtoTRAK Mill Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Sterling Heights, MI. You will read detailed prints, set up ProtoTRAK Mill operations, and machine parts to print specifications.

A strong emphasis on precision and documentation is essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with ProtoTRAK or Bridgeport mills, the ability to read gauges, and a track record of maintaining clean, organized workspaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating ProtoTRAK Mill or a Bridgeport Mill.
• Ability to read production prints and inspect parts with gauges.
• Experience documenting routers and process sheets is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read prints, set up and operate ProtoTRAK Mill to machine details.
• Check parts using measuring gages.
• Document and update job routers / process sheets as required.
• Keep machine and work area clean and organized.

Work Hours

6:00am – 2:30pm (or 4:30pm when needed), Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturday’s.

50 - 56 hours per week on average.

Requirements

Education/Skills Required:

• 3+ experience operating ProtoTRAK Mill or a Bridgeport Mill (HTI will train on the Prototrak controller)
• Must be able to read prints
• Must have experience using measuring gages to check parts.
