Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC and manual machines, interpret drawings, and ensure precision parts meet specifications. You will work with engineering to optimize processes and uphold quality across the production floor.

The role requires 4+ years in machining, CAD/CAM proficiency (ACAD/Mastercam), GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work with graphite and other materials. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years machining or related experience.
• CAD/CAM experience with ACAD and Mastercam.
• Ability to perform basic precision measurements with calipers and micrometers.
• Prototype experience from drawing to finished part (setup, fixturing, machining).
• Manual milling and turning experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person per export laws requirement.
• GD&T experience to ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with Haas/Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will impact the company by delivering precision-machined components that enable the smooth functioning of our supply chain processes, contributing to product quality, operational efficiency, and overall business success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate machining processes.
• Perform quality inspections and measurements to verify conformance to specifications and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of machining processes, including fixturing and tooling design and selection.
• Able to produce parts with a high degree of difficulty and tight tolerances.
• Must be willing to machine graphite while also having experience with standard materials (aluminum, steels, plastics).

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The hourly salary range for this position is $41.34 - $51.92.Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 4 years of machining or similar experience.
• CAD/CAM experience with ACAD software and MasterCam.
• Ability to perform basic precision measurements on parts using inspection tools including calipers, micrometers and various gauges.
• Prototype experience going from a drawing to completed part (Mastercam file setup, fixturing, CNC setup & machining, verifying dimensions/finish).
• Manual mill and lathe experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
• Experience with Haas/Fanuc style controls.
• Minimum 2 years in the proper application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ASME Y14.5 standard.
