Qualifications

• Five years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures parts from steel, aluminum, or other materials.
• Assists faculty and students with tasks and experiments.
• Orders parts for machine shop use.
• Provides support to laboratories and performs maintenance.

Skills

Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

Ability to perform mathematical computations

Ability to read engineering drawings and sketches

Education

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Graduates of a vocational training program
