Advanced Technology Group in Westminster, CO, is looking for a Machinist responsible for operating CNC and manual machinery. Candidates should be able to read complex blueprints, write simple machining programs, and maintain a safe working environment.

Operates CNC and Manual Machinery in accordance to Safety Practices, Operational Manuals and best practices. Programs and runs programs on CNC machines and observes the operation of the equipment to ensure the accuracy of the part to the provided drawing. Manually checks machine function by using measuring devices to ensure work output is within acceptable limits. Brings technical issues to the attention of his/her supervisor.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities; however, direction may be provided to project coordinators, QA, and engineering personnel, and to shop personnel. Direction is provided in the spirit of organizing and prioritizing the tasks required to complete projects on time and within budget.

Prior training in Lean Manufacturing and work experience in a Lean environment is highly desirable.
